About Us

Welcome to Jupiter Tequesta Dog Club (JTDC), we’re more than just a training facility—we’re a community of passionate dog lovers dedicated to helping every canine reach their full potential.  Our mission is to enrich the relationship between our dogs and owners by training and sponsoring events open to the surrounding community.  We endeavor to help people live joyfully and fruitfully with their dogs. 

 

We are a small not for profit dog club serving Jupiter, Tequesta, and the surrounding Palm Beach County area.  We ​focus on positive training and dog handling and encouraging the advancement of purebred dogs. We specialize in Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Scent Work, Community Outreach through Therapy Dog Training and other services.  We engage in classes and workshops for all breeds and skill levels. Our instructors use positive, proven methods to build trust, confidence, and teamwork between dogs and their owners. With decades of combined experience, we’re proud to provide a welcoming environment where learning is fun, friendships are made, and every success is celebrated.

 

Our clubhouse is located on the FAU campus and can be attributed to a generous donation to FAU from one of the founding members, George Cornell. He was a Samoyed fancier whose dogs competed in conformation and obedience. It was his wish that the members have a place to meet and train and offer outreach to the surrounding community of Jupiter.

 

We offer about 25 different class titles and have approximately 10 classes running each week.
